Notes
Tomato Selection: Choose ripe and flavorful cherry tomatoes. The better the tomatoes, the more delicious your pasta will be.Proper Seasoning: Seasoning is key! When cooking the pasta, don’t forget to add enough salt to the water, it really helps bring out the pasta’s flavor. Also, as the sauce cooks, add salt and pepper. Taste it along the way, and adjust the seasoning as needed.Cook Pasta Al Dente: Make sure to cook the pasta al dente, so it still has a bit of firmness. This gives the dish a nice texture when mixed with the sauce, and it holds up well.Pasta Water Reserve: Before draining the pasta, save a bit of the cooking water. This starchy water is perfect for adjusting the sauce's consistency and helps the sauce stick to the pasta. Just add a little while mixing.Finishing Touches: For that extra depth of flavor, drizzle a bit of high-quality olive oil over the finished dish. And if you love cheese, a sprinkle of grated Parmesan on top can make all the difference!
