This easy Cane’s Sauce recipe makes a creamy, tangy, and peppery dipping sauce with just five simple ingredients. It is perfect with chicken tenders, fries, burgers, and sandwiches.
Add 170 g mayonnaise, 80 g ketchup, 30 ml Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper to a medium bowl.
Whisk the ingredients together until completely smooth and evenly combined, with no visible streaks of mayonnaise remaining.
Cover the bowl or transfer the sauce to an airtight container, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Stir the sauce well after chilling, then serve with chicken tenders, fries, burgers, or sandwiches.
Notes
Use Full-Fat Mayonnaise: I prefer full-fat mayonnaise here because it gives the sauce a thicker, smoother texture and keeps the flavor balanced.Choose Coarse Black Pepper: Coarsely ground black pepper is my choice for this sauce because it gives each bite a more noticeable peppery finish.Measure the Worcestershire Sauce Carefully: I always measure it instead of pouring straight from the bottle, since even a little extra can make the sauce taste too strong.Stir Before Serving: I like to give the sauce one final stir after chilling so the texture is smooth and the flavors are evenly mixed.
