This quick crab sauté comes together in minutes with garlic butter, tender imitation crab, and fresh herbs. It’s simple, comforting, and perfect when you need an easy warm dish fast.
Melt 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add 2 cloves garlic (minced) and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant and lightly golden.
Add 225 g imitation crab meat, 3 green onions (sliced), ¼ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper. Toss gently to coat in the garlic butter. Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring carefully to keep the crab pieces intact.
Sprinkle in 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped) and drizzle with 1 tsp lemon juice.
Serve the crabmeat sauté warm over a fresh salad.
Notes
Keep the Crab Intact: I stir the crab gently because I like the pieces to stay whole; it gives the dish a nicer texture.Finish With Parsley: I add the parsley right at the end since I enjoy how it keeps the color bright and fresh.Lemon at the End: I drizzle the lemon juice just before serving because it gives the crab a clean, subtle lift that I really love.
