In a large mixing bowl, combine the flax seeds, sunflower seeds, melon seeds, chia seeds and almond flour and season with salt.
Pour the boiling water over the seed mixture and stir well to combine.
Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes to allow the seeds to absorb the water and create a sticky dough.
Once the mixture has thickened, spread it evenly onto the prepared baking sheet with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven at 160°C (350°F) with a fan for 1 hour or until the edges are golden brown and the crackers are firm to the touch.
Remove from the oven and let the crackers cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
Cut the crackers into desired sizes and shapes, using a pizza cutter.
Let the crackers cool completely.
Serve the crackers with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Seed Quality: Ensure that the seeds you use are fresh and of high quality. Stale or rancid seeds can affect the taste of the crackers.Seed Variety: Experiment with different seed combinations to add variety and enhance flavor. You can try sunflower seeds, melon seeds, or flax seeds, for example.Consistency of Dough: Achieve the right consistency of the dough by allowing the seeds to absorb enough water. The dough should be sticky and easily spreadable, but not too wet.Even Spreading: Spread the dough evenly on the baking sheet to ensure uniform thickness. This helps in achieving consistent baking results.Thin and Uniform Thickness: Aim for a thin and uniform thickness of the dough for even baking. This ensures that all parts of the crackers are crisp and not undercooked.Baking Time: Keep a close eye on the crackers while baking. They should be golden brown around the edges, indicating that they are crisp. Overbaking can lead to a burnt taste.Cooling Process: Allow the crackers to cool slightly before cutting them into pieces. Storage: Store the seed crackers in an airtight container to maintain their freshness and crispiness.
