Wingstop Ranch Recipe (Copycat)

This Wingstop ranch recipe combines mayonnaise, buttermilk, Hidden Valley Original Ranch seasoning, and black pepper into a creamy, tangy dip. Mix the four ingredients in five minutes, then serve immediately or chill before serving.

Ingredients

▢ 165 g full-fat mayonnaise
▢ 28 g Hidden Valley The Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix 1 packet
▢ 235 ml buttermilk
▢ ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

Add 165 g full-fat mayonnaise and 28 g Hidden Valley The Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix (1 packet) to a medium bowl. Stir until the seasoning is evenly incorporated.
Gradually whisk in 235 ml buttermilk until the dressing is smooth, with no streaks of mayonnaise or pockets of dry seasoning.
Add ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper and stir until evenly distributed.
Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend. Keep any dressing you are storing covered in the refrigerator.

Notes

Choose the correct packet: This version uses Hidden Valley The Original Ranch Seasoning & Salad Dressing Mix. Other blends can change the flavor and salt level.

Let the seasoning provide the salt: The ranch mix already contains salt, so taste the finished dressing before adding any extra.

Optional chilling: The five-minute total does not include chilling. Allow 35 minutes altogether if you choose to refrigerate the dressing for 30 minutes before serving.

Refrigerated storage: Keep the dressing covered at 40°F / 4°C or below and follow the storage directions on your dairy ingredients. Optional chilling before serving does not mean refrigerated storage is optional.
