⭐Why You'll Love This Air Fryer Garlic Bread

Quick and Easy: Faster than baking without heating a big oven, great for fast meals or snacks.

Perfect Crunch: Air frying makes garlic bread crispy outside and soft inside.

Evenly Cooked: Air frying cooks evenly, so every bite is crisp and tasty.

Flavor Options: Easily customize with extra garlic, herbs, or cheese to your liking.

🧾Ingredients

Here’s what you need to make this Garlic Bread:

Air Fryer Garlic Bread

Unsalted Butter: I prefer good quality unsalted butter for its smooth, creamy texture. Let it soften at room temperature to make a delicious spread. It helps the garlic and herbs stick to the bread and brown evenly. You can use salted butter but skip the added salt.

Garlic Cloves: Freshly minced garlic gives the best flavor.

Parsley: Freshly chopped parsley adds a nice flavor and a pop of color.

Salt and White Pepper Powder: For seasoning the spread.

Parmesan Cheese: Freshly grated parmesan adds a salty, savory touch that's amazing!

Baguette: I like using ready-to-cook baguettes, but ciabatta or Italian bread works too.

See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.

👩🏻‍🍳How to Make Garlic Bread in Air Fryer

These step-by-step instructions and photos will help you to visualize how to make this recipe. See the recipe card for a printable version of this recipe.

Process 1

1. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, white pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese until smooth.

Process 2

2. Cut the baguette into thick slices. Spread the garlic butter evenly on the cut sides of the baguette.

Process 3

3. Air fry the garlic bread in at 200°C (392°F) for about 8-10 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown.

Process 4

4. Take the garlic bread out of the air fryer, let it cool a bit, serve warm and enjoy!

📖Variations

Try Different Cheeses: Parmesan is awesome, but mozzarella adds a melty texture and cheddar gives a sharper taste.

Mix Up Your Bread: A baguette is classic, but ciabatta, sourdough, or even sandwich bread can bring different textures and flavors.

Add Olive Oil: Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the garlic bread before air frying for extra richness and crispiness.

Boost with Garlic Powder: If you love garlic, sprinkle some garlic powder on top of the buttered bread for extra flavor.

🍽 What to Serve with Garlic Bread

Garlic bread is such a versatile side dish because it goes with almost everything! Here are a few ideas for you:

Pasta Dishes: This bread pairs perfectly with any pasta you love, like Gigi Hadid Pasta or Cherry Tomato Pasta.

Soup: Garlic toast is a must-have with soups! It’s especially great with Chicken Noodle Soup, Clam and Bean Soup (Alubias Blancas con Almejas), or 1-Pot Lentil Soup with Vegetables.

Main Courses: Try mopping up garlic bread in a warm, savory sauce from Marry Me Chicken, Pork Tenderloin, Braised Pork Cheeks in Wine Sauce, or Pork Storganoff.

Salad: It’s a nice addition to a salad like Tuna Pasta Salad, Egg Potato Salad, or Caesar Salad if you’re craving a bit of extra carbs.

💭Tips for Recipe Success

Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh garlic and parsley give the best flavor. Try to avoid pre-minced garlic or dried parsley if you can.

Soften the Butter: Let the butter soften at room temperature before mixing. This makes it spread smoothly.

Cut the Baguette Properly: Slice the baguette into even 1-inch thick pieces. This helps them cook evenly and avoids some pieces being too hard or too soft.

Monitor Cooking Time: Air fryers can cook differently, so start checking your garlic bread after about 7 minutes to avoid burning.

  • Slice the ready-to-cook baguette into thick slices.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the baguette.
  • Place the baguette in the air fryer tray.
  • Air fry the garlic bread in a preheated air fryer at 200°C (392°F) for about 8-10 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  • Remove the garlic bread from the air fryer and let it cool slightly before slicing into individual pieces.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use Fresh Ingredients: Fresh garlic, parsley, and good Parmesan cheese make your garlic bread taste amazing.
Softened Butter: Make sure the butter is soft (not melted) so it mixes well with the garlic and parsley and spreads evenly on the bread.
Even Spreading: Spread the garlic butter mix evenly over the bread for consistent flavor in every bite.
Watch the Cooking Time: Air fryers vary, so check your garlic bread a minute or two before the time is up to avoid burning.
Adjust to Taste: Customize the garlic butter mix. Add more garlic for a stronger flavor or herbs like oregano or basil for extra aroma.
Use Parchment Paper: Prevent sticking and make cleanup easier with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Crispiness Level: For extra crispy bread, increase the air frying time a bit, but be careful not to burn it.
Rest Before Serving: Let the garlic bread rest for a minute after air frying. This helps the butter and cheese set, making it easier to handle and tastier.
