This Honey Garlic Chicken is saucy, sticky, and full of flavor. With juicy chicken breasts and a glossy pan sauce, it's the kind of quick chicken dinner I never get tired of making.

What I love most about this chicken breast recipe is how simple it is, just a few ingredients, one skillet, and about 30 minutes. The honey garlic sauce is sweet, salty, and tangy all at once, making every bite taste like comfort. This easy chicken recipe has become one of my go-to weeknight dinner options.
It's a skillet chicken recipe that works for almost any occasion. Whether you want a quick and easy dinner idea for the family or a sticky honey garlic chicken to impress guests, this dish delivers. ⭐Why You'll Love This Recipe
- Quick & Easy: Ready in about 30 minutes, this dish is perfect for busy weeknights or a simple weekend meal. It's super easy, but still feels special.

🧾Honey Garlic Chicken Ingredients
You'll find the exact measurements in the recipe card, but here's a closer look at a few of the ingredients and why I use them.

- Chicken Breasts & Flour: I like using chicken breasts for this recipe because they cook quickly and stay juicy. The light flour coating helps them turn golden while keeping them tender.
- Butter & Garlic: Butter gives the sauce a rich base, and garlic is the star here; it fills the kitchen with the best aroma and makes the sauce irresistible.
- Honey, Soy Sauce & Apple Cider Vinegar: This trio is my favorite part of the dish. The honey makes it sticky-sweet, soy sauce adds depth, and vinegar gives just the right tang.
- Fresh Herbs: A sprinkle of parsley, coriander, or chives at the end adds freshness and makes the dish feel finished and bright.
👩🏻🍳How to Make Honey Garlic Chicken Breast
You can find the complete printable recipe with measurements below, but for now, here's a quick overview of how it goes:

1. Score the chicken breasts with a crosshatch pattern and season with salt and pepper.
2. Coat the chicken breasts in flour, shaking off excess.
3. Cook in butter until golden brown on all sides and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Add more butter to the pan and let it melt. Reduce the heat to medium, add minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

5. Add apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and honey to the pan, stirring until a thick, glossy sauce forms.
6. Coat the chicken breasts evenly in honey garlic sauce, cover the pan, and cook for 5-8 minutes.
7. Stir in chopped parsley and cook for 1-2 minutes.
8. Serve the hot Honey Garlic Chicken, drizzle with remaining sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley.
📖Variations
- Balsamic Honey Garlic Chicken: Swap apple cider vinegar with balsamic vinegar for a deeper, slightly sweet flavor.
- Spicy Honey Garlic Chicken: Add red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha for a spicy kick.
🍽 What to Serve with Honey Garlic Chicken
This sticky honey garlic chicken is delicious with fried rice for a quick meal or roasted potatoes for something heartier. I also love it with fresh tomato salad or warm ciabatta to soak up the sauce.

💭Tips for Success
Butter in Stages: I like adding butter twice, once for searing and again for the sauce. It keeps the chicken rich and gives the honey garlic sauce a silky finish.
Toss Gently: When coating the chicken in the sauce, I toss it slowly so the flour crust doesn't break apart. This way, the chicken stays juicy and the sauce clings beautifully.
Storage: I store leftover honey garlic chicken in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, reheating gently with a splash of water to loosen the sauce.
