I was born and raised in Spain, and the Mediterranean Diet recipes have been a big part of my life. It’s more than just food, it’s a way of eating that has kept me healthy and helped me manage my weight over the years. I’d love to share some of my favorite recipes with you, ones that have been part of my daily routine for as long as I can remember.

Along with these recipes, I’ll also share a few tips and what I've learned about balanced eating.
It’s not just about following a diet, it’s about finding a way to eat that makes you feel good, inside and out.
I will share with you how I easily maintain a healthy lifestyle by following the Mediterranean Diet.
Here’s how I manage my eating habits and stay healthy:
My Tips for Mediterranean Diet & Recipes
1. Change Your Eating Habits
I try to eat at regular times each day, breakfast only when I feel the urge to eat, lunch around mid-day, and dinner in the early evening. In the beginning, I had to get used to feeling a bit hungry between meals, but it got easier. I avoid things like chips and processed sweets. If I need a snack, I grab an apple.
2. Eat Food That Makes You Feel Good
I stick to a Mediterranean Diet, which is full of olive oil, fruits, veggies, beans, whole grains, and lean meats like chicken and fish. I try to eat bread, rice, and pasta in moderation. The recipes are so good that I don’t worry much about what I’m eating. Even when I’m on vacation, I look for Mediterranean food to stay on track.
3. Get Some Exercise
I find that light to moderate exercise a few times a week helps keep my metabolism in check. Plus, weight-bearing exercises can help with weight loss and toning, which makes you look and feel better.

4. Avoid Buying Unhealthy Food
I’ve found that not having junk food around really helps. For example, if there are no cookies in the house, I won’t eat them. It’s that simple. When I’m trying to lose weight, I let my family know, and they’re supportive by not bringing tempting treats into the house.
5. Consume more healthy fats.
One of the best things about the Mediterranean Diet recipes is that it lets you enjoy plenty of fat, mainly from extra virgin olive oil. Adding more of this oil to my meals has made a big difference in how I feel. It keeps me full, helps curb cravings, and tastes amazing! Plus, new studies suggest that a diet high in healthy fats can boost your metabolism. As long as you’re using extra virgin olive oil, it's also great for your heart and helps fight inflammation.
